Before any treatment is used, a check should be made on an
inconspicuous area to ensure no adverse effects.
In dusty environments, regular, light vacuum cleaning is recommended.
Even in relatively clean environments a twice yearly light vacuum is
suggested. Avoid using hard brushes or harsh rubbing techniques.
Cleaning of soiled areas may be achieved by using upholstery or carpet
shampoos (do not use soap or dishwashing detergents). Vacuum clean the
area to be treated first. Do not use excessive water as this may affect
the adhesive or the substrate the fabric is attached to (e.g. Gyprock
may bubble or split, plywood may distort, or the fabric may delaminate
in areas).
Commercial installations may be effectively cleaned using and extractive
carpet cleaner, however a careful check should be made on an
inconspicuous area to ensure the substrate is not affected.
Commercial dry-cleaning of large areas of wall covering is not
recommended.
